Im runnng Windows 8. Quad core2 , 4 gig of ram . 2.6 ghz.
Ever since Ive installed Sonar x2a I cant load all of my vsti's when I open them it locks my machine and closes Sonar X2a.
Everthing worked with X2 before the X2a update. I have tried to reset vst plugins and did a rescan of  vst's muliple times. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the plugins muliple times. When I uninstall X2a and go back to X2 everthing is working fine. Is anyone else have the same issue with the x2a update? Thank you

You don't have an enormous amount of ram, have you checked how much is being used ? Since X2a added more functionality for win8 I presume it's bigger, though maybe not.

granted I dont know what type of sessions Ardivilli is running, but it is pretty hard to soak up all 4 gigs of RAM. I have had video sessions with multiple orchestral libraries running (2 VSL multis with close to all 32 instruments being used, kontakt and more)........................... are you opening plugins for the first time in a new session, or trying to open previous projects? hold down shift when opening a project and try deduce which plugin(s) cause the problem........ is there a common factor between the plugins that wont open (cakewalks own, or 32bit plugs)?

make sure your plugin directory still contains programs(86)/Cake/Vst folder. You might need to simply reinstall X2 over itself. Sounds like bitbridge is missing, which could be the case if you uninstalled X1 or a previous version.
