This statement right here tells me exactly what the extent of your knowledge is-TYVM   Post a few hundred times in this thread and you'll be climbing to 6K in no time.

What the hell does that even mean? He had one. I played through it quite a few times. I recorded him with it a few times. I heard him play through it hundreds of times. It was a very nice piece of gear IMO. So much so I wanted to buy it from him.

Do people actually put up with your condescension? Seriously, this is exactly why I avoid talking to you.

Good day.

Good day.

This will be my last post in this thread and I again apoligize to the OP.

Any guitar player who can afford it should go out and buy one? That is just wrong, that's all.  End of story.

I like it also remember- but it is not the only option in that price range and is certainly NOT the best in that price range.
Feel, pick attack, does not react to volume roll off the way the others do,etc-The others have come so far above COSM modeling- Play thru the HD500, or the 11 RACK-same $$. The 11 rack sold on EBAY, not GC. Good bye pal

My apoligies to everyone in this thread-I stand by the statements about the guitar gear but got very carried away with the delivery

Sorry Gang

So lemme get this straight... you recommend the device to the guy... which I had just done... but somehow I'm an idiot... for recommending it.

Makes perfect sense.

WOW...you two need a candle light dinner! LOL...and yes...according to Dave Ramsey...I am broke. I have for about 25 years and played LOTS of units myself, but was wanting to know more about this unit in particular. I do have enough info to go on though...so thanks for the input and a bit a humor for me on the side! TTYL!!!!

Yeah... sorry about that. This isn't first time the guy crawled up my butt for no apparent reason. He's got a problem with my post count or something.

Meh.

I will concede on one thing though. It's been a few years since I've been able to go mess around in a guitar shop so perhaps there are newer units that beat out the GT. I'm just going by my own personal experience and the flood of positive online comments about the 100 model.

I'd say any guitar player who can afford one should choose the GT over any other pedal board.

The above statement is the one I disagreed with and still do-That's all-makes sense to me-I just don't agree-no biggie.
I said it was OK which it is. I would never recommend what your quote above says.

End of story I hope

Fine. You didn't agree with it. I can respect that. It was the insulting tone of your post and the insinuation that somehow I'm a sub par guitarist or not a guitarist at all that caused the issue. Totally unnecessary and as I said it isn't the first time you've gotten snooty with me. I ignored it in the past but this time I called you on it. I may be a beginner as far as audio production but I have indeed been playing guitar for a very long time.

So yeah... let's leave it at that. If you want to discuss guitar stuff, cool. I'm sure you do know about a lot of gear I haven't had the opportunity to play through. However if you just want to crap on me... well I'll go back to ignoring you. I just wanted you to know that your comments weren't appreciated. I'm a nice enough fellow but I do have my limits.

Peace.
