I know that the issue seems a bit bizarre but I am fairly confident in my assessment that SSD is causing this problem. He was the testing logic that I followed
After opening project with two instances of SSD and finding not audio could be hear i started trouble shooting.
1) I started with a working project (meaning audio is able to be heard which contained one instance of SSD in synth rack. (Saved file as A)
2) Added Second instance of SSD (Saved as B)
3) Added ProChannel preset to SSD2 Track 1 (Saved as C)
4) Added ProChannel preset to SSD2 Track 2 (Saved as D)
5) Re-Routed SSD tracks to appropriate buses (Saved as E) At this time all audio can be heard.
6) Closed from project
7) Re-open Saved file E. Meters were moving but not audio. Closed Project
8) Re-open Saved File B. Meters were moving but not audio.
9) From Saved filed B, removed first instance of SSD, still no audio can be heard, Saved as F. Closed Project
10) Re opened F that only contained second instance of SSD, audio can now be heard.
11) Added prochannel and presets to SSD 2 Tracks 1 and 2) (Saved as G)
12) Re added first instance on SSD. Saved as H. (Audio can be heard) Closed file
13) Re open H. No audio can be hear. Close project.
14) Re open G. Audio can be heard.
Based on this testing it would certainly seem that there is some conflict some where that SSD is causing if two instances are present at once in Sonar.
Thoughts?
