I just purchased the update to Platinum (I've been off the program for about a year).  I'm using Command Center to update.  I'm getting this error message:

An error occurred while trying to rename the file in the destination directory. 
MoveFile code 183
Cannot create a file when that file already exists.

I tried "ignore" (and there are a few of the files) and now Plantinum wont launch.

Windows 8.1 is the OS

Any help would be much appreciated

Then Command Center crashes and I get an error.  After that, the Platinum icon in Windows is whited out. 

Hmmmm..  After about six or so tries, it finally DID install!  Not sure what I did differently.  So, I'm good.

11/24/17  I'm getting the same error code when I tried to install the latest SPLAT update (2017.10 (23.10.0.14)).  Then I tried to rollback to the Sept update and got the same code.
 
Not  a computer guy.  Can I ignore this?  How do I fix this?

Trying running as Administrator.  I'm forgetting what I had to do.  It seemed like after a few tries it just worked.

It's most likely a Windows permissions issue, perhaps a file that's open by another process. Try rebooting and run CCC as Administrator, which is always a good practice when installing anything.

Thanks,  I always run as administrator and like Sacalait after several ties including restarts and reboots it just worked.
Files open slowly and are glitchy  Hmmm.
