I have a suspicion that it really is a bug but instead of fixing it they are making like it is a feature offered in another product, which sounds ludicrous to me. Why would they partially allow midi editing in one version and full editing in another.
I agree 100%...Even my old Cakewalk 5.0 for DOS has that capability, but HS doesn't. I think that's an underhanded way to get people to pay for their other software, especially customers like me who have been Cakewalk users since the DOS days. This is yet one more reason why I'm spending more time using the Linux based "Studio To Go" package from ferventsoftware.com instead of paying for more HS upgrades...
