Seems to me someone had this discussion b4, but I can't find it. After running X1 Producer for a bunch of time, I upgraded to X2. The display of the entire Sonar DAW was perfect for both of them. Everything fit on my hi-rez screen. I just upgraded to X2a, 64 bit Producer and it doesn't want to scruntch down to fit everything on the screen. It looks like I'm running 640x480, but I am really running 1920x1080. I just fired up X1 again and it is correct. I also looked for shortcut keys that would fix it, but..... Sure would be much obliged if someone has and fixit clues.

Sorry - the only time my display gets messed up is when I accidentally hit the stupid side button on my mouse and it turns the Windows 8 magnifier on.

Just so you know - I went to the link you provided for your music, and the page is not found.  Perhaps you have moved it elsewhere - I'll take a listen if you have a different link for it.

There is an aussie guy on these forums- I think his name is millzy or millsy (his avatar is him playing a bass)who had the same problem. He found out the answer pretty quick- might pay to pm him

edit: found it- http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.aspx?m=2740597

Thanks! I searched for Millzy and found his solution. The fix was to change Window's screen view percentage to 125%. Mine was at "custom" which is some value greater than 150%. Question is, why did X1, X2, and all my other software continue to work normal, but X2a decided to treat screen resolution differently. Doesn't make good sense..

Thanks, Bob. Seems Google had placed a "nofollow" tag in my Cakewalk page's HTML section. I think I'm back in business.

Hey guys, yeah took me a bit of fiddling to find this but looks like the X2 UI now follows the Windows display size options. I had it at a custom size too for X1 and it was great because the UI was a perfect fit for the screen and the plugins and synth modules all opened up at a nice big size. Now that i've reduced the Windows display size down to get the X2 UI to fit, all the plugs etc are small. Oh well, glad my post helped you!

You are da man, Millzy! It would be nice to know why X2a programmers thought they had to muck around with resolution... The other thing they did was to misinterpret my sound=system's driver settings and put in their own ideas. Resulted in almost constant dropouts. Why????....
