I have Sonar X2 and since the update to X2a have sometimes experienced Dimension Pro volume going down about 20dB on the track I am working on. The midi output does not go down.
 
If exit and reload the track it works again. If I freeze the track and the unfreeze the track it works again.
 
Has any body else experienced this?.

Do you have "Zero controllers when play stops" checked in Preferences|Project|Midi? If so, try unchecking it. I have had synths' parameters changed randomly on occasion with that setting, which I have since had to stop using.
