Recently Cake Support recommended I do a full uninstall/reinstall of RapPro to try and solve some patch errors (like, many were missing multisamples). This went reasonably okay, solved a few problems. But now when I try and reinstall the subsequent content packs I get a "reinstall failed, click here to continue" error with no additional info. Whilst I wait for support to get back to me has anyone else encountered this?

no experience but
you could try to manually install them either by manually running the installers from the Command Center download path
or
download the installers from your account and run them like we use to do with older products.

Yah but I don't get a "Download" option with the installers anymore, just a "Reinstall". I've deleted the original installers in my attempt to "start clean". Sheesh this one virtual instrument has been quite a headache for me.

Did you log out and back into the Command Center?

As I mentioned above the installers are available under Rapture Pro here https://www.cakewalk.com/My-Account/Products

Download them and either run them by hand or put them in the download path for the Command Center then reinstall

Hrm, okay tried that. In CCC there's a different list than the URL you posted.

In CCC there's 12 initial content packs: Legacy 1-3, Gibson, Analog, Orchestral, Pianos, Organs, World FX, Concert Grand Harp, PianetT (sic), and Clavinet. THEN it goes on to D-Pro pt 1, etc.

Via the URL, the list STARTS at D-Pro pt 1.

So, I'm confused. And somewhat annoyingly so. I bought the stupid synth, I just want it installed. I've spent SIX WEEKS banging back and forth with Support, who I finally get on the phone and they screen share my DAW and wack around doing everything I did and then they say "oh, just uninstall and reinstall it". Like, fer realz?

It sounds like you are working from an old Command Center list. The list in my Command Center agrees with the store account.

Did you log out and log back into the Command Center?
Are you running Command Center 1.1.5.0? CTRL+gear to see about screen

Just a quick follow up to this, so despite installing my multisamples onto my D drive using the provided option, *some* RapPro patches still look in C for their files. I've given up and just started copying over ones that are missing, which is a compromise I'm willing to live with but one that still doesn't make much sense.

A directory junction should do the job if you elect not to copy the files.

Directory junction? What's that?? Is that the same thing is a SymLink?
