I am thinking to continue with Sonar untill it is not working properly.
So Cakewalk Legacy should remain. At least for the people who support company many years (like me)

Sorry to be a downer on this. We already have 2 new forums setup.

Sonarmods by panup has been revamped to accomodate Sonar expats 750 members
And Bapu has also created Beyond Cakewalk forum for Cakewalk expats. 250 members

I’m trying to show that while we seem to be a United group we are infact fragmented.
Who are we going to present a petition to?

Cakewalk offices are closed, Online Store is closed and no more sales.
It seems like Keith Albright is the one left holding the fort as he seems to be the only one to pop up here from time to time.

I really think we should just make our own plans for personal direction and wait for the further info we’ve been told to expect.

Permanent authorization solution is clearly required. Yes. That would take the edge off, though the situation still sucks. But I consider that a minimum. Obviously they can't guarantee that Windows updates will never make it uninstallable, but at least we should be able to authorize what we paid for indefinitely on current-to-medium-term Windows.

Of course.  Wondering if we could entice Craig Anderton into taking it over?

Count me in. But let's hope someone somewhere is willing to take it over.
