Count me in!
I also think a generic .dat file for all registered users and their registered software would be the answer. I loaded SPLAT onto a non internet connected PC last month and authorising offline generated a .dat file specific to me and that particular machine. How hard would it be for a generic file to be produced for valid users?

That is the bare minimum they should do.  I plan to make sure I have complete system backups before updating Windows 10 so I can roll back if necessary, but I see problems ahead when I need to replace my motherboard or entire PC.

Is there a link for us to sign?  We could also spread the petition through Facebook where there's a lot of Cakewalk users and those one that could sign just to help...
