I have a question about a couple of recent posts in this forum.
A new locked thread has appeared titled "Off-line activation guaranteed.." which merely links to the recent stickied post that Karyn made titled "Important info regarding Sonar Activation".
That post links back to the thread titled "Petition to insure authorization in the event of ..." which has now become locked.
The item within that thread that we must assume is being referenced is Wibbles post (#98) that states that a post has been made on the sonarmods.com forum by "Wookiee" which states:
I PM'd Noel and he said if the Cake servers are to be shutdown all legal owners will be issued with a file that will allow for authorisation on new installs or reinstall's. That is indeed good news, if it proves to be true, but that would seem to me to be anecdotal evidence rather than an official statement of any kind, which the thread title implies.
I'm curious as to the reason for the thread obfuscation I describe above that appears to be happening?
Further, can someone in an official capacity please confirm whether this statement is true on this forum? It would be splendid to have some official clarification in this matter.
