Hey Guys!

This isn't a huge inconvenience, but I'm always looking for better ways to improve my workflow.

I never bought the mp3 encoder for my Sonar X1 Producer Expanded software because I already have one installed in my Cakewalk Pyro 5 software.

What I was wondering though is this:

Is it possible to import the mp3 encoder from my Pyro 5 software into my Sonar X1 Producer Expanded software?

That way I could export without going into another program, and save a couple of bucks too. (of course).

Anyone know if, and how to do this?

I think this thread from a few days ago might help.

No, but you can easily use the free LAME encoder that's been well-documented in this forum or use the free $20 Cakewalk gave everyone to buy the Cakewalk encoder.

This has always worked exceptionally well for me, it integrates into Sonar and lets you export mp3's straight out of Sonar without any external/extra software. The working link and most up to date version is in post #18......been using it for years without any issues.   http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.aspx?m=2268643  ....oh yeah, it gives you an option to save the wave file with the mp3 as well, so you do export as both in one shot.
