I'm a having a few little "quirks" appear with X2a but nothing truly horrible. X1d was rock solid but I can put up with X2a. I do like some of the improvements. Still far more stable than 8.5 was (which crashed on me all the time due to horrible memory leak). Thumbs up!

Going from 8.5 to X2a, was probably the single most important point in my music creating life up until now. I'm really not kidding. I've said this before, but it seems like the Bakers were reading my mind and frustrations all these years (been using Cake from its beginnings) and changed the tools and interface to fit my brain perfectly.  Frustration and confusion before has turned into joy and clarity over night.  I feel as if X2 is allowing me to control it instead of the other way around, like so many other programs...(Microsoft???) The process of music creation now makes much more sense to me.

Thanks, Cakewalk... I'll always chime in when there's a "do you love SONAR?" thread.
