Dammit! I really hate the internet sometimes. :-(

As was mentioned, this is no doubt aimed at getting folks to ultimately sign-up for the Adobe Cloud Suite.
If you need PS and some advanced video tools, the Cloud Suite is a pretty decent solution.
Got the first year for $30/month.  Easily worth that...

The only thing I don't like about Adobe is that they sell your contact information.
Shortly after purchasing CS5 bundle, the amount of SPAM to my inbox went up *dramatically*.
Use a secondary Email account to avoid this...

I think the thing i dislike most about Adobe is they are very quick to change their upgrade terms. If you snooze and skip an upgrade cycle they have been known to suddenly make your old version no longer eligible.

Jim. oddly I have used adobe products for years and can't say I have received any spam related to them or partners over the years. I have tons of spam in my various email accounts, but the one i use for Adobe actually has the least spam and what little there is very unlikely to be related to them.
