hi everybody!

i'm having a problem recording with conexant hd audio on my laptop in wasapi mode.  keep getting the old chipmunkey sample rate mismatch quality.  sample rates are the same in the project and device settings.  works as expected using asio4all - no chiptune.  anyone ever get around this??

btw - yes i have an asio audio interface and yes i have used wasapi mode to successfully record in the past using little lappy mic.  sonar is the only program doing this right now.  what i'm doing is using pure data to capture resonant frequencies of the laptop while its running to convert into midi messages and granular samples that can be fed into a synth rack and separate audio tracks. it's easier to pick up those things when you're on public transportation without having to plug in an audio unit and wave a mic around - kinda makes people feel a bit creeped out. ;)

anyway - anyone get sample rates to match/work in sonar with conexant??

Well, can you share the settings you are using?

conexant outs are 24/28 and the mic is 24/48 in windows device settings.  project file is 24/48.  record timing master set to conexant hd microphone playback timing master = conexand hd speakers. file bit depths - 24/24/original.
