I have read all the threads I could find, but still a bit confused. I am talking audio only tracks here.
All audio tracks go to busses, like drum bus, vocal bus, guitar 1 bus, etc. Then all busses go to master. Master goes to\is main outs.
Normally I also put ozone 5 on the master bus to "fine tune the sound" and to dither (rom 24 bit to 16 bit)
 
What is the best way to export? I know thios has been beaten to death but each thread has all kinds of opinions and not always the same.
 
I just always thought I should select all the busses (including mains) and then export and select main outs in the export dialog box.
 
Should I be bouncing all down to a stereo track and then export that? I am in a home studio-only my own stuff.
 
Also, I have all the videos, do any of them cover this in detail?

Hi,
I'm not sure there is a 'best' way, but there are several options.  You can select the master bus as your output, or the audio outputs in the Sonar export dialog box.  

Exporting to WAV will provide best quality, however if you're looking to export directly to MP3, there are several quality and bit depth options - I would recommend using variable bit depth in that option.

I haven't viewed all the videos, so can't answer whether this is covered or not - but it is covered in detail in the manual. 

I haven't had to bounce any tracks before exporting directly, but if you had a very large / complex project with lots of FX and soft synths and an underpowered PC, that may be necessary.
