Freddy,

The intro reminded me of Gerry Rafferty, then went in a completely different direction.   It is funny how you can find things from the past and make them new, or, forget they every existed.   Sometimes find stuff on my old 4-track and wonder where it came from;)    Very cool song.

Regards

Freddy, I was reminded a bit of dave Matthews song dancing Nancies When he says look up at the sky. In that song there is a release of musical tension then. In yours the music kinda stayed a little tense, which I enjoyed but made it seem not tied tightly to the lyric.

Freddy, this is one of my favorite tunes by you.  Your vocals and melody are magnetic, drawing me into this song.  The mix is big sounding and better yet, dynamic!  My only suggestion would be to pull down the hihat a little, but otherwise, I'd leave this alone.  Kudos, pal.

Hi Mark.  Ya, it was a bit of a surprise to find the old yellow sheet with the chords an lyrics on it.  It brought back good (and one or two not so good) memories.  Thanks a lot for the comments and for listening.

Hello Geoff.  Hmmmm, you bring up a good point about the relationship between the mood of the lyrics and music.  I'll have to give that some thought.  I appreciate the insight  -- thanks.

Hey Lynn.  As this number is a bit out of my comfort zone (my musical tastes have changed since I was a teeny-bopper), I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out.  Given your talent and expertise, if you like it then I feel as I if hit a bases loaded home run.  Thanks for the kind words and the tip on the hihat!
