Lynn I like the way you cover  social ills with your music...not quite ministry music but darned close in that it invites us to look at an issue we might not consider. No getting around how dark the theme is and once again kudos for the fortitude to even tackle it. It it too dark? I guess that depends on the listener. Noone can say it can't be here or that it serves no purpose. No rules in art like that. It certainly isn't the kind of thing I run for when I listen to music, but I invite this aspect and respect that you consider it.
 
The mix was clean and forward like most of your others...that guitar in the left side going all the way through got to be a bit much for me after awhile....kind of has a scratching effect to my ears. The rest of the mix seems pretty good. Maybe this is just me...but for a dark theme like this I would have probably gone with a slower tempo, less drums and a more laid back arrangement in order to bring those emotions out but that's just me. The way you did it is ok too. :)

This sounds very well produced and played. The melodies sound very good too. Through my Grado headphones the mix sounds good. But, Starise might be right. For a song about suicide this sounds perhaps a bit too groovy for some people. But I find this approach refreshing, because there is a big contrast between the music and the topic. Radio ready.

Starise-believe it or not, this song is 10 years old.  As I said above, I had no idea where this was going when it started out.  I could have gone in a different direction had I known what I know now.  Thanks for your thoughts, as always, and I can't say that I disagree with any of your suggestions.
