Kamikaze
Then I released I had no sound, and when I checked the drum map manager, the Port was set to Quad, not to AD2. I don't think this is right, it surely it should assign the port correctly. Quick fix, in drum map manager, select on of the port assignments and Press CTRL+SHIFT while changing the port when changing the port, to do all 80 odd at once. Save as a new Map
I had done this also, it assigned output to my midi keyboard controller, I changed as above in session, and had sound again, when I reopened project again later, output was assigned to AD2 but had no sound again, re-did the process and still had no sound??? As original poster says Arggggh!, LOL.
Anyway what I really want is names assigned in PRV not drum "pain" LOL, despite its possible virtues.
I think another way to do this also may be in AD2 where you can reassign kit piece to different keys, so say the same as those used by the General Midi Drums instrument, (which you can assign to PRV keys), in any case, its matter of taking the time to do it.
Cheers
