Status report from the new guy! I have it all set up and running well. So far no locks or crashes and no latency problems. All of my soft synths are working very well and I am having fun auditioning all the massive sounds available. Audio is recording flawlessly (well, garbage in=garbage out ).
Having fun learning the interface and watching tons of video tutorials. I have a few little dilemnas that I won't trouble you guys with, because they are learning curve issues that I just haven't figured out yet. Actually, part of the fun is learning.
I do have one weird question. When I use any soft synth (and I do mean any) the overloads light up on the peak meters in the MIDI tracks. They do not stay lit like if you
clipped a signal, they just flash every time I strike a key. I have watched for this phenomenon in several videos and don't see this happening. No matter how low I push my MIDI channel levels, it still does this. It does not seem to adversely affect the quality of the sound, but it bothers me. I have gone through my Preferences and my sound card settings trying to find some signal that is overloaded, but I can't find anything. Anybody else have this occur?
I may just be a little paranoid, LOL
Thanks for all the help!
