I have assigned various operator values in FM8 to some controls on the Synth Rack, and am looking for a way to set different max and min values for each. I see some start and end values when assigned a knob to a group, but they dont seem to have any effect. edit: nm. made some progress - group mamager is working - but the first control is still ignoring its start and end values.

Looks like you found the answer, but not sure why the first control isn't working...

yeah its weird. when i 'remote control' the first knob of the group to a slider on my midi keyboard, this seems to overwrite the start and end values. The non-remote controlled knobs in the group obey their limits. I can set up a dummy control knob for the remote I guess, for a disengaged parameter on the synth.
