Brilliant! Very Beatle-like.....or Monty Python-ish.

I believe this is the best one ever from the Monkeys! Daryl really took it up a few notches with his vocal contributions. The lyric itself is incredible, Not to mention the professionalism that shows in the whole thing from all of you!

What a nice surprise!  Profound, but enjoyable.  You can keep writing songs like this as far as I'm concerned.  Carry on.

+1 or 10 to all of the above.  Catchy and just slightly twisted lyrics, great vocals, great arrangement, and a perfectly clear (yet punchy) mix.   What's not to like?
 
I also get the Beatles vibe - I think it was the dry, upfront vocals against a slightly wet music bed.   Of course, it doesn't hurt that there's a British accent on those vocals.
