I'm also hearing a bit of auto-tuning/Melodyning in a few spots, but otherwise the vocals do sound great - solid delivery, very pleasant tone, and a good clean recording.   The arrangement IMO is really cool - I like when I can listen to someone's version of a song and think "I would have never thought of doing it like that".    Just a great balance of classic and newer sounds.   Even the bass is well done.

Thanks a lot Dan - I agree on the bass

Thanks a bunch Bitflipper - outside the box the vocal is recorded on a cheapy Behringer C-3 microphone going through my Tascam FW-1082 board.
Inside the box, it's going through Waves Vocal Rider first,  then I am using the Tube Equalizer from the VX64 vocal strip to boost slightly at the low end, then some pretty severe tube drive from the Prochannel Tube, there is a small amount of the PC2A, and all of that is being fed through a separate buss with some more tube compression, EQ Shelving and pro filter from NI Guitar Rig 5's library. Pretty messy now I write it down!! :)
