Do I need an Audio Editor? I mean one like Pyro, Sound Forge, Acoustica, etc. It seems most of the functions of these programs can be done better in X2, but I wonder about CD creation capabilities and I see others using them, so I ask . . .

If you really needed a separate audio editor you might not be asking the question.  However, you don't know what you don't know.  Do you spend a lot of time comping or making small adjustments to audio files?  If you are spending a lot of time here then you might.

I'm fine with editing in Sonar right now, I uess what I am a little confused about is if there is some kind of functionality missing from Sonar that an audio editor provides, it seems like they have more robust CD authoring capabilities but is it something I might need or does Sonar have all I need to author a standard (redbook?) CD? To be clear, burning CDs is not something I have done.
