As my log in says, I am a super newbie and I can probably win the prize for the simplest (maybe stupidest) question of this forum... but here it is...

I have installed X2 a while back and I don't remember if I installed it as 32 or 64 bits. I looked into the Help - About SONAR but no indication there.

I need to know because I want to install X2a and I can't because it wants to know if I have 32 or 64.

Where/how can I find that info?

Thanks in advance...

Really? It should say somewhere on the Help > "About" splashscreen whether it is 32 or 64 bit.

Yeah, in the about screen just above the "licensed to:" line, the build info ends with x64 if it is 64bit. If you are running a 32bit OS you are running a 32bit version of SONAR. If you are running a 64bit OS you could have installed either one or both. The 64bit version installs in "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk" in a SONAR X2 (Producer|Studio|Essentials) directory. The 32bit version is in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk" in a similar SONAR X2 directory.

The 64-bit version has an 'x64' at the end of the build info on the About Sonar screen, found under Help.

Don't know about the x32 version.
