I create a folder and put in some audio tracks.
 
I clone the last track.
 
In previous versions, the clone would appear OUTSIDE of the folder (or, if there was another folder, it appeared INSIDE THE TOP OF THE NEXT FOLDER!)
 
What happens now is two steps:
 
First, the cloned track appears outside the folder (or on top of the next folder), just as before.
 
Then, without having to do anything, the track suddenly pops back into the bottom of the originating folder. Really funny to watch, especially if there is a second folder underneath.
 
Unfortunately, this is just additional code to cover up the underlying problem
 
If you Drag and Drop a track to the bottom of a folder. it still just drops out.

In software development, sometimes it is a lot safer - in terms of destablization risk - to create a "post-execute" routine to a problem are than it is to rewrite it from scratch. 


I, for one, have no problem with a momentary visual hiccup, so long as it gets the job done.
