(Edit: This only applies to projects created in pre X versions of Sonar. I've changed the thread heading to this.)
 
On a track if I group a lit (on) solo button and an off mute button I would expect them to reverse states if I clicked either button (as in 8.5).
 
This is not happening in X2A with my pre X2A projects.
 
In such a group if you click a lit solo button it will go out and light the mute button as expected but if you click the mute button it doesn't switch off the solo button. Futher more the console view mute state does not update.
 
This really looks like a bug to me or am I missing something?

Are you on X2A 32bit?

Tried in new project -same thing. Solo on/off in track will switch track mute on/off but not console mute. Track mute doesn't even switch itself off. I've checked the settings in group manager. Neither absolute or relative setttings get it working and mute is set 1, 0 and solo set 0,1

I'm on 64 bit. I can't check the x32 version as I don't have it installed. Perhaps someone else will though.

I shut down the computer, took a break then booted up again and went to a test project created in X2A and created a mute/solo group and it worked as expected. 

Made a note the group settings then booted up the 8.53 project that had the mute/solo group project that didn't work, checked settings were the same and found the group still didn't work as in original post.

I notice that group selection popup looked different (much smaller)  in the project where the group worked. In the project where it didn't work it looked like the same popup group selector as in 8.53. 

Having booted up the project in which the group doesn't work I then created a new project, created a group and again it didn't work and the 8.53 style group selector popped up.

Does X2A reference different code for pre X projects? it might explain a few problems if it does   

X2a should open older projects okay. You may find that going the other way isn't as successful though.

It's only happening in pre X projects.  (Edit: I've reported it CWBRN-14220)
