Hello all, I just finished building a new PC, (an 8 core AMD 8350, 16 Gb Ram, and 64 bit Windows 7) and also made a leap of faith from Sonar 8.5.3 to X2a. I tried X1, but it was really buggy and crashed non-stop. So far I have to say I'm really impressed with X2. It's smooth, slick, and hasn't crashed on me yet. Seems to have taken a page right out of my rock solid 8.5.3.... Anyway, I'm a bit unfamiliar with some of X2's settings. I got the Groove3 video, but still have a few simple questions if someone would take the time to help me out. First, I can't see the entire name of any plugin in the fx bin. Resizing the track borders does not seem to help. This is really annoying. How do you re-size it to see all of the text? 2.The pro channel feels really crammed into the inspector. I find it difficult to manage several plugins when They only measure a few inches in screen size. I've just been skipping prochannel for now, and using vst's in the fx bin instead. I'd love to explore prochannel more if I could see it... 3. What are the differences in dithering choices in the export menu? 4. Is there a way to delete audio that has been removed from a session from the audio folder without manually going through each file? I don't need to keep anything that isn't part of a project/session. Thanks in advance for all your help! Ryan

You can't but you can load them in the prochannel where there is more room or give the VST a friendly name. That's done in the plugin manager.

The algorithm used. It's a trade off between efficiency and bounce/export speed

4. Is there a way to delete audio that has been removed from a session from the audio folder without manually going through each file? I don't need to keep anything that isn't part of a project/session. Thanks in advance for all your help! Ryan

Not sure I fully understand what you mean but "Clean audio folder" in the Utilities menu or the CWAF tool will help with safe file deletion.
