Can anyone recommend a good collection of sample loops for sonar x1 producer, and where to purchase them.  I am looking for good sounding drums, bass, guitars, piano in fact as many different  instruments and different styles as possible. Thanks.  

That's a pretty open question. A lot will depend on what type of music rather than just the instruments.

I don't use loops myself, but I suggest you look at Zero-G. They have loops for most types of music. If you sign up for their news letter you will get notification of frequent sales.
