Any issues for using convo verbs really only depends on the quality of the impulses themselves.
Waves, Voxengo Pristine Space both work fine in x64 using Bit Bridge.
(be careful of zipper noises with Altiverb using tempo changes in Sonar)

Lucky me, I just spent $250 on Aether and while it sounds great, it also crashes when Sonar tries to load the project!

Here is my crude non-programmer analysis of Aether's minidump file.

I guess I'll go bark up 2CO's tree. *SIGH* Why don't these things just work?

I have 2-3 instances of Aether in all my projects using X1x64.
Post your computer specs so others can diagnose your problem easier.

SOrry to hear you're having issues.. when I have computer issues I always feel like breaking something, I haven't had any issues with Aether, the support guys for 2Caudio are pretty good though

Really? I was just on their website looking for support -- I could not find it:

http://www.2caudio.com/products/aether/

I am also having this odd problem where when the plugin DOES load -- when I authorize it, save the project and re-open the project, the plugin state is not saved as "authorized" and I have to re-authorize it.

Something that I've been testing is Eareckon's Earverb.  It's recently become 64 bit and there was a new update just released.  It's very tweakable.     It's got a demo.

Overloud Breverb is also one you might want to check out.  Comes in native 64bit.  Best results come from tweaking it to your liking.  Presets are hit and miss.

I'm quite amazed at how some of these major companies are dragging their feet on 64bit support.  Now that machines come w/ 64bit Windows as the standard it all but ensures that 32bit will slowly become obsolete. They're going to have to get on board.  It's inevitable.

Hey Corling

I had the same issue about the authorization.

If I remember correctly, it had to do with where the plugin was installed and enabling in the properties of the .dll it to be more than read only. Here's the e-mail for support

I like PerfectSpace and Classic Studio Reverb by IK Multimedia.

Probably ought to look at Reflektor as well.  64 Bit, zero latency stereo convolution reverb.  What's not to like...
