Breverb is 64bit too If I recall correctly...

@Corling.... what problems are you having using EWQL Spaces...   I'm really tempted to purchase it.

IF you are a registered SoundsOnline user then you can put in a Serial # and read their Support forum.

Given how deep SoundsOnline buries their support forum, I was suprised to find it bursting with complaints about their products -- including Spaces.

IF the reverbs I purchased recently (Spaces, Aether and EAReverb) worked, I'd say Aether is by far the best.

Maybe I will buy Breverb wich will be $1,000+ towards the effort to find a good, stable 64-bit reverb. I hope the fourth time is a charm!

Get the LXP.   Lexicon reverbs sound amazing, and have probably graced more top tracks than just about anything.   It's just in the last year that they have finally released their good algorithms in VST format instead of $3000 hardware rack units.

Okay, I discovered the issue I was having with EAReverb is actually a specific issue that can develop when it follows Anteres Autotune Evo in the VST signal chain.

The issue resolved when I flipped their order and flipped it back. I am crossing my fingers to see if it develops again.

Hi Corling, I"m surprised with your setup (Intel i7-980x, etc.) that you're getting crashes with Aether, is it just your one project it crashes in? or is it others too?

Hi Corling,

I hope Autotune EVO works fine with EAReverb now.
I have not found a way to reproduce this problem with one of my installed pitch-shifters, but I will keep continue to investigate.

For your information, I'm currently working on 2 new models for EAReverb (very large and extremely large ones).
These models should be sent to the testers team today... I just hope Dave will like them ;-)

Kind regards,
Philippe

I am able to run one instance of Aether on the audio track of a brand new default template with full stability.

For some reason, once I added three instances to my current Sonar project, the plugin caused instability. Aether's specific DLL crashes when I attempt to load the project, and the project loads fine if I disable its DLL.

As a general caveat -- my Cakewalk projects seem to be easily made unstable. I don't know if I push the limits of the project specification or what. (I don't think I'm doing anything *that* elaborate).

There have been cases with numerous plugins (specifically NI Kontakt Player, QL Spaces, EastWest's PLAY Engine, and probably some others) where I could run the plugin with high stability as a single instance in a brand new project template -- but had it become unstable in a full project.

Works fine in Reaper 64bit, dont know about Sonar x1?

This is bundled in the DVD with the January issue of Computer Music - the one that covers Sonar X1.  I believe it is the CM version but is quite similar to the full version which retails for $50.

Update also posted at the top:

What I have now purchased due to suggestions in this thread:

2CAudio Aether -- unfortunately, after I bought this, it will not run stably in my current Sonar project. If I start a blank project I seem to be able to run one instance stably, but multiple instances cause my current project to crash.

EAReverb
After downloading the demo for this and finding the demo to operate beautifully, I purchased the full version. Unfortunately, the full version has a bug that causes it to distort the audio on my tracks (make it sound much lower). It is unusable.

------------
With Spaces, Aether and EAReverb failing, I've spent $750 in the past month looking for a Reverb VST that does not crash in my current Sonar Project or have debilitating bugs. Too many times, the demo works fine but then the actual version does not (e.g. EAReverb).

Wow-Sure seems like you have something else going on. I mean, you have some the top reverbs and they don't work for you? That's weird. Just sayin..................................................I bought Reverberate x64 $75 and rock ssolid for me. My specs are below
