I've been using Sonar x1 producer and have been noticing a problem with my bass sounds.  Anytime I have a bassy track with heavy frequencies around 30Hz, there is a ringing type noise in the high end.  I'm not quite sure if it is resonance or an electrical noise, but it does not go away even if I EQ on the master buss.  To test further, I exported the same track and listened to it in FL, iTunes, and Windows Media Player - the same sound was not heard anywhere else.  I also hear the same sound through headphones, but again, only in Sonar.  I check my audio preferences, which all match up to what they should be.  44k and 16 bit (also tried 24).  I hope this is enough detail to help! What type of tracks and FX do you have going?

I actually don't have any plugin's at all, I can do my mastering work on any parts not involving bass frequencies in SONAR and it sounds great, but as soon as I add in a bass track the bass track (even soloed with no effects, listened to on headphones or monitors) makes a ringing noise. this happens with any bass track of any song I've done, but if I take the track and export it and listen to it at the same levels on the same speakers but thru a different program (like Fl) it sounds perfectly clear like the original file should

What sort of bass? Did you record a bass guitar or is it from a vsti?
