This offers seems to still be on with Celemony. I upgraded from 8.5PE to X3 this week, and registered with Melodyne for Essential today. Received an email
 
"From now until 04/16/2014, you can upgrade to Melodyne editor for only €/US$ 149 – thereby saving 50%."
 
combine with the upgrade to X3 this is less than Melodyn Editor in total, plus I got to upgrade my Sonar and get the Groove3 vids.

I unintentionally started a topic about this up in the SonarX forums.  It appears you have 15 days AFTER you register your version of essentials Melodyne that came with your X3 upgrade, to upgrade to Celemony's Editor version for half price or $149.   I can't vouch for sure, but from the other replies, the time dependent is WHEN you first register.  In most cases then, along with the X3 upgrade cost, you end up getting Editor, still at a lower than retail price than if just buying it separate....AND the X3 upgrade, along for gravy...or the other way around.

I am late to the party as usual I just updated to Melodyn Essentials 4 but most of the videos show you features of editor. Does Melodyne Editor compare at all to V-Vocal?  If I make this jump I want to make sure we don't have something already that is close.

They as in Cakewalk or Melodyne?  So it is safe to say V-Vocal can not compare to Melodyne?

IMO V-Vocal holds no candle to Melodyne whatsover.

Melodyne is far more then just "Pitch Correction"...

Melodyne will send an email...Cake hasn't had it on sale that I know of...

I will always post it in the DEALS forum when it goes on sale...and where to
buy at the cheapest price...
