I wouldn't say this is a bug...but more like a weird fluke that happened.

I had a project opened this evening and had been tweaking the lead vocal with Melodyne editor.  I got finished with the track and closed out the instance of Melodyne (clip FX).

I hit play and the project started playing.  But when I hit stop the project would stop...but the vocal track would start playing.  The cursor was stopped...nothing moving in Sonar...it was a "stopped" project sitting idle....BUT...the vocal was singing away.  I hit play and the vocal track stops and the project starts playing back normal again.  Hit stop...and the vocal track starts playing again.  I did this several times, as I was flabbergasted as to how this was happening.

The only way I could get it to stop this was to close out Sonar and open it back up.

I'm sure it had something to do with the fact that I had been editing in Melodyne....but nothing like this has ever happened before...quite strange...!

If this happens again look in task manager and see if Melodyne is still open. 

Thanks John...I'll check that if it ever happens again.  I was using Melodyne as a project FX and not the stand alone version, so it surprised me that the vocal would start playing when the project was stopped...and would stop when the project was started back playing.  Strange indeed.
