OK, I made a simple effects chain to control stereo width using channel tools, I have a width knob to simultaneously control the left right width sliders, all well there, however when saving the project and reopening it it doesn't keep the settings.

Settings before saving:

Settings after reopening project:

As you can see the knob defaults to centre position thus effecting the stereo width I had set when saving the project.

Not sure if its just with Chanel Tools or other FX chains plugs as well. Don't normally use FX chains just found this useful for control stereo width and noticed the issue. Opened problem report anyway.

Yes, I'm seeing the same results.  It is resetting the combined control knob to the center position and changing the plugins width controls for both left and right.

Still not reply from cakewalk on this. I normally get an email not long after a bug report.

Just tried this by creating two separate chains. One was saved with a unique name and the second was just saved with the project information. I changed the settings several times on both, and they reopened correctly when I closed and opened the project.

First I thought the problem might be from not saving the chain with it's own name since I noticed you had the default "fx chain" in the name field. But that didn't make a difference here.

I also tried editing the controls for a start time to be 0.00% and end to be 50.0%

I like that setting for what you're trying to do.

Sorry I couldn't repeat this for you.

<<just edited this post for grammar - wow, I can't talk with family when typing that's for sure>>
