I always start out a new tune with a drum loop...drums can be very inspiring to the creation process, but stringing loops together is tedious and nothing I've found so far makes it easier, so it's pretty much a long , drawn out manual process to get drums to sound natural, short of hiring a player...One area though, that I figured always could help the process, is if someone would record a kit/clips with the END result sound being EXACTLY what you would hear on a commercial recording..no need for eq, no need for compression, no need for anything, they're set. And sound precisely like you'd hear on the commercial CD recording...not only would this be a huge time saver, it would lend itself tremendously to the song creation process when the drums sound soooo good as your writing the tune. Now of course, a certain faction of semi-pro to pro users would totally scoff at this idea, they want raw sounds to tweak as they see fit, and that's fine, this idea isn't for them. But for those of us looking to get the framework of a tune done up as painlessly as possible and allow us to focus on our primary instrument, this would be a great thing I think....while I'm thinking of this, the idea of full track tunes, rather than 1 bar clips would be very cool, but have it MIDI OR audio, and have it broken into measures...so you can basically pull this fill and move it over there, etc,etc,etc. The stuff that comes with SONAR is an OK starting point, but is woefully inadequate for a full tune...what I'm thinking, would BE a full tune already, you just have the options of moving measures about as you like to fit your song ideas. And have a very large library of drum songs to work with too.

In another thread of yours, back in June, it was suggested that you try Jamstix.
Did you do that?
It would appear that while you want to have a hand in the creative process, you really want to have it done for you, at least for the drums.
I'm not a huge advocate of Jamstix, but I think it is the closest thing to what you have been asking for this year.
Or you might take a different approach to your process. 
I'll usually start with a simple click track, and lay down some guitar or keyboard tracks.
These will often suggest where the drums need to go, and I can then build more elaborate drums around this structure.
Basically, don't kill the muse fighting something you may not be particularly good at.

As for a complete song track, somebody would have to know your song before you have created it.
Otherwise, you are just playing along with a pre-existing tune.
My time travel vst is unreliable.
The last time I used it, I brought home a stegosaurus, and my wife was not at all pleased.

I don't know what could be much easier than Groove Clips. You can select one Groove and drag it out for the length of the song, then once you have the song figured out, go back and add some fills and breaks and voila!

Also - Session drummer why don't you just load a pattern? There's zillions of options, you just haven't found the one that works for you,,, 
I hate using loops. to slow. I do the same as Robert.  I also have a few templates saved with basic patterns. In 1 minute I'm recording an idea.
