Sometimes I wish I had a synaptic output port, so I could record the imagery in my head direct to video.
This triggered some very cool stuff.
It grabs you and takes you with it right from the start. Very powerful sound.
Rapture is one of my favorite synths, but I still need to spend more time learning what it can do.
Thanks for sharing, Shawn.

It needs words or a melody. If you move the beats around so everything sounds off, it would be a splendid example of minimalism. Nice work.

Nice theme and sounds - but somehow too little "happening" to keep my attention after a while.

Shawn, I love Rapture, and I use it a lot.  I like what you've done here, but I think you've just scratched the surface of what Rapture can do.  Once you get past the bread and butter sounds, Rapture can surprise you and lead you into unknown possibilities.  Overall, like all your productions, this is polished and very professional.

I know I've barely gotten under the hood in Rapture and this song, still just browsing the presets and usually applying some external effect VSTs like SONITUS DELAY included with SONAR which is great! -Shawn

You know, this makes me want to take a look at Rapture. I tried to like DimPro and we never got along, so I sort of overlooked Rapture. This sounds really great, as an experiment. Needs more meat to be fully realized, although it would sit well on a 90's New Age CD.

Dan
