Sorry Fleer,
Deep in sfz code. Steam rising from top of head!
If you would, I'll request you to send me the three files from you GUI.
brass.xml, brass_legato.xml and toggle_mute.xml to have a look at?
I'll drop you my E-Mail address.
Regards,
John.

Thanks Fleer,
At first read through it seems that the files are identical.
I kinda hoped that they would be.
I'm expecting the same holds true for the sfz files too.
Regards,
John.

Just thought I'd post a quick update.

All of the SAM brass has now been 'Stereo Staged'.
Work is well in progress with all the new GOS library, with the stereo stage inserted into the sfz files. XML next.
The new Choir is in a similar state to GOS.
I became briefly sidetracked when I realised that the new 'Custom Organ' didn't have a stereo stage.
There was a minor problem there in that cc36 was being used for the left most 'organ stop' to adjust the level.
So I had to move them all up by one (missing cc38 for some reason) to release the depth control.
Here's the resultant controls GUI. I had to move the Instrument Controls up a little.
It's a little crammed on the right hand side, but I think it works.

I'd be interested in comments.
Regards,
John.

Looks quite balanced, John, not crammed.

Thanks for the feedback, Fleer.
(Quietly I'm quite pleased with the new interface.)

This morning I decided to start investigating installation programs.
MakeMSI from David Barnes, at first glance, looks like a great free program.
If I can create an installation program using MakeMSI that makes a backup of the original xml and sfz files, and that also sets up a 'revert' program to be invoked if needed, I think that will smooth most people's path into using the updates.
Only problem is that I'll have to learn yet another language.
Oh well.
Regards,
John.

Those guys from MakeMusic and Garritan should pay homage!

I'm running Windows 10 and have found the standalone version of the latest Aria Player does not open. GPO 5 works okay in Sonar.
Any thoughts?

Grum.
