I've got the feeling that many avoid windows8 because they don't like the new "metro-interface" and don't like not having the start-button around.
I’d just like say this, in case anyone missed it:
With the 3
rd party software “Classic Shell” you can get back the start-button and you also get all kinds of settings that (among other things) lets you start up windows8 directly to desktop-mode and deactivate “active corners”.
So... With this software you get the look and feel that you’re familiar with and the speed and stability w8 gives you (win8 is much faster than w7 and works GREAT with Sonar!)
