Hi,
Just bought Maschine MK2 what an amazing piece of kit, just one problem
obviously I don't want to run it as a standalone, but can't get Sonar to see it
and load it.
I had a look in the VST plugin folder and can see the dll file there, but when I look in
the Cakewalk plugin manager folder, it's not there, what am I doing wrong ?
I've tried rescanning, moving the dll file to the shared VST folder, nothing seems to
work, It will be something simple, but I can't figure it out, would one of you bright guys
help out this not so bright guy please !!!!!!!

there are specific ways to install maschine. have you run as standalone first? they say you should do this after install. i think you have to ensure that mashcine is not plugged in when you install, or there are specific instructions about when to connect maschine. follow the install instructions and you should be fine
It may be worth a re install. it works file here with latest software.

Same advice, and same confirmation that it works fine.
 
I'd suggest going back to a system restore point prior to installing Maschine and following the installation instructions to the letter.
