I have Drumagog 5 and did not have any problems with it before and after the vst rescan. However, I use the iLok method for copy protection. I remember when I used to use challenge/response in 64 bit SONAR it would always hang the vst scanner. Their tech people said it was and issue with PACE, but I don't know if version 4 uses that or not.

I have IK's CSR and they work fine here. Just loaded all of them up and they work just fine. Are you using the latest versions? They recently updated to new 64bit versions...

Good luck,
Dean

Staff view: The idiot note selection menu still exists. Just stupid.

Track view: still no indication of take lanes until the track is opened to reveal the take menu toggle's soft blue glow: dumb.

Stubborness. After all the complaints from the past 2 years I was hoping some of the declutter/menu hysteria would have been modified.

We have a command/ribbon box to quickly select any screen set, with clear indication of which is selected, even though the number keys are easy to find and use.

But we still have to use a menu to select note values which are changed much more often than clicking the screen set buttons.

And we have to move to the ribbon to change note values instead of having quick/close access to buttons that display state.  NOOOOO  we have to READ the note values.

========================

And what makes me really crazy about the X series:

Sonitus presets: My dozens of EQ presets used to be displayed on ONE screen, for quick 1 click loading.

BUT NOW:::::::::::::;  ANOTHER MENU with 6 folders are displayed for multiple click search and selection.

These are clear examples of mental illness.

Is X2a build 308?  After the update, I expected to see X2a somewhere.  Looking at my "help"/"about sonar" menu it states that my current file revision is 308 and still just says X2 Producer.  I just want to make sure the update happened.

Mine shows X2a build 351.

If yours is Producer I have a problem.  The install seemed smooth with no error messages.

thanks emwhy & Razorwit......further investigation needed. I'll check out IK's site. As for Drumagog, don't want to update if possible.

What are some of the new perfect space impulses called? (it appeared they were installed on my c drive as I watched, but I see nothing I don't have in my f drive where I store my content. I'm left uncertain.)

Upgraded yesterday - used it with old and new projects - no problems as of yet!  Finally figured out how to use PerfectSpace....VERY COOL!  Should have taken the time quite a while back, awesome on snare top

Note:  download and install was actually quite quick and easy.
