Hi Markus. If you have multiple clips in a track and, say, you are zoomed in and want to select all those clips to the end (or start) without having to zoom out, you need to know they have been selected. What I'm finding is the since the upgrade to X2a, these clips are frequently not being selected as they should by the shortcuts I've been using to date and was hoping someone would test that for me. It feels like a bug from where I'm sitting. Cheers David

As of this posting I think the people that put this patch together should pat themselves on the back because they have done a very fine job.

Thank you CW!

I'm liking it. The new Write Automation button. The context for PC (images of the FX so you can tell them apart for us visual ppl).

I did just lose my mouse pointer a moment ago while moving nodes in Track View envelopes.

And you can no longer scroll tracks and envelopes in track view using the scroll wheel. I guess we complained too much about arbitrary values changing so they decided to stop us from hurting ourselves. Just means I'll have to make better use of my alpha track.

Never mind the scroll wheel thing. It looks like it's disabled in my computer for some reason.

Took the chance on installing 2a on my Vista PC even though it's not recommended, and after working on a couple of projects it seems to do just fine. It's a Dell that's been very stable with any program and well maintenanced.

Seems I've got to buy a new one next year though as updates aren't supported anymore.

Thanks for that info. I was going to ask if anyone had it working on Vista.

Yep, seems to be working fine on Vista so far.

Problems here.

Installed X2a and it would not load Drumagog 4.11, said it couldn't find a file named "C:\Program Files (x86)\Drumagog40\Favorites.dat".

I found the file in a different location and moved it to where Sonar was looking for it. This time Drumagog was recognized but had defaulted to Demo mode.

I Re-installed Drumagog and re-activated it but it still showed up in Sonar as in Demo mode. I tried another install and activation and got the same results.

Also two IK multimedia plugs, CSR Hall reverb & Sampletank 2, were disabled by Sonar. I re-enabled CSR but the instant it loaded up Sonar crashed.

Gave up and restored the computer image I made before X2a was installed. All plugs then worked perfectly.

Very disappointed.

John
After the install of X2a did you do a reset of the the VSTs in Plugin Manager than a scan?

wow a 531 meg download.

The large download is because there is a new Microsoft redistributable and also some perfect space impulses and content included.

I noticed that as it installed....both the VC++ 2012 and the new PS Impulses...

I tend to watch what goes one when a program installs in case of issues...LOL

I saw the PS files during install too, only thing is I don't have PS installed.
I looked at the folder & since the dll isn't there can I delete those unnecessary impulses & folder without doing anything harmful to the registry?
A better question would be can you use those impulses on TH2 producer edition? I see no reason why you couldn't. I noticed some amp impulses in there. Since TH2 has the ability to load IR's maybe you should try them in there before you delete them. I seen some cave IRs that are already sounding great with my acoustic. Too cool!

Following the video tutorial from the freebie producer content I see that we could load Wav files into the Cabinet IR, but it only wants a mono file or one channel of the stereo files, so I didn't continue with the Perfect Space imports.
