Was in Best Buy Union Square in New York today and was amazed to see they STILL don't have X2 for sale! They have the full range of X1's though. How long has it been, lol! I often see them advising newbies about which DAW to buy to start recording - I wonder how many people are going in there and coming out with X1 because they didn't even know X2 existed. 

The "buy X1 get X2 free" deal is good through the end of the year, so the only thing they won't get is a copy of the X2 DVDs.

There are still a couple of UK retailers selling X1 for 30 GBP and advertising it as the cheapest possible way to buy X2

They're selling it for 30 squids in the UK? Wow....X1 Producer is going for $299.99 at Best Buy.
