really happy they work again!!! totally.  when i have snap on in prv and hit a key to change the snap settings the prv grids change to match.  that is awesome - just like in x1.  then, when i change the snap settings in the dropdown to a setting i haven't mapped to a key the gridlines of the currently selected snap remain in effect.  :/ 
oh well... almost. ;)
