Sonar X2 installation.....

I recently pre-ordered the Sonar X2 Producer.
My question is as follows: not having installed the D upgrade of Sonar X1 expanded will I be able to install Sonar X2 Producer without any problems?

X1 and X2 are 2 different programs. You do not install X2 over X1. You do not need X1 to instal X2.

Does this mean that, when I install Sonar X2, Sonar X1 and all references to it will have to be uninstalled or can they still be kept in the system?

Will the projects, whether completed or in progress, done in Sonar X1 be able to run on X2 without a problem and if there are any projects that need to be worked on, will we be able to continue where we left off in Sonar X1?

Yes, but be aware if after you work on a Project in X2 and the try (for any reason) to re-open in X1, some extended features of X2 may not be available in X1. Carefully plan your migration to X2 on a project by project basis.

What about the plugins folder? do we need to re-install all the plugins or point a shortcut to plugin folder of X1? thank you

X1 and X2 run independently, but share the same plug-ins. When X2 is installed, I believe it automatically uses the settings from X1 for plug in and shared folder locations.
