my # 3 Tele has medium acoustic height action w 0.12 gauge flat wounds . this is pretty much the same set up I use on my hollow body Jazz Guitars …I happened to do that to this guitar as an experiment a while back ...
it seems to be working out pretty good in the tone department , so I have kept it set up this way .

In the past , a few accomplished jazz guitar players took me under their wing and taught me a few things ...
Now after many years of playing the guitar , I'm just starting now to be able to grasp a few things here and there
