I had a fun time layering on the synths with this one.  Three for percussion, two for bass, and so on and so one.

Edit: Courtesy of some great feedback below, I've uploaded a new version with about 25 seconds worth of new material.  Thanks!

Interesting, I hope no cats were harmed in the recording? How did you come up with the name Badiya Ghar? Did you know it's an anagram for BAD *** HAIR? Sorry, merely an observation not a political statement and without intent to offend,

Interesting, this may sound like a strange question is it complete?

I enjoyed what I heard but it felt like it needed to go somewhere and it nearly got there but did not quite make it.

As I am still adjusting to my rearranged control room layout so I am being little hesitant about mix comments.

@Robbie - thanks.  No cats were used in the recording process, but outside of that I cannot say.    The name came from using online translators with words like desert, sun, cavern, etc., until I found something I liked.   Of course, afterwards I couldn't help but have EWF's "September" in my head...

@Wookie - not a strange question at all.  I guess i considered it complete "enough", though I'd be curious to know if you envisioned anything specific?  I actually was thinking about extending it in some way, maybe, but figured I'd get it out there first just to see if or how it sticks.

I loved it. It was well played and constructed. I enjoyed the new fresh sound of the instrumentation. GREAT JOB.

Steve it just feels like it wants to go just that little further to finish the story or perhaps that is it the story is as yet unfinished.  I got the slight feeling of question and response and it felt like there was still and unanswered question.

This is good..really like the bass in the second section. Nice use of dynamics and tempo changes.

@ Ralph - Thanks, I appreciate that!  I'm glad you liked the combination of instruments and sounds... that's something I really like doing, especially if I have a "theme" to work with.

@ Makke - Thank you!  I found the image after the fact but that is the idea I was going for... particularly the slower section, like camels slowly bouncing their way through the desert.

@ Wookie - perfect, thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for.  I may have found a transition spot right after the slower "camel" section and before the sustained chords that lead to the outro.   I'll have to play with that a little.

@ James - Thanks!  Lots of basses to choose from in Komplete.    :)   And I'm a sucker for transitions of all kinds, so I'm glad that aspect is working.

Some songs take you from the beginning to the end, and some are just part of the journey, like a canoe trip that just shows you part of the river.  I love the exotic vibe this gives and the classy arrangement.  There's a textural gold mine here!
