With all this talk of touchscreen and x2a and me just about to open the wallet on a multitouchscreen...........
Is there any reason why x2a shouldnt be controlled via my Ipad3 using something like the airdisplay app instead? I have only just seen these apps for ipad and not used before or tried.
http://avatron.com/apps/air-display Seems to fool your PC into thinking that the Ipad is a multitouchscreen monitor attached to your pc in the traditional way. It doesnt interface with the daw directly and can be configured in a dual monitor setup or main monitor like any other display.
In theory then , i may be able to take advantage of x2a touchscreen feautures like any other touchscreen monitor, but using an ipad3. Its probably too good to be true and just wont work with sonar. X2a seems more likely to work if previous versions didnt.
Anyone used these successfully or unsuccessfully with any version of sonar before i install more stuff on the PC?.
cheers.
