I am waiting for X2a also, just to be sure that I get a stable version of the software. The one thing that I am afraid of is going from layers to track lanes. I read a lot of ranting about them taking up real estate. Tom
I like track lanes, and have not had the issues some complain about.
Many, but not all, of the issues have turned out to be people not understanding how they work. Watch fbb's video on comping on youtube to get a good idea of how they work.
ne thing I have noticed is that often the people who dislike something in Sonar make a lot of noise, and post apocalyptic threads bemoaning it. Other people just get on with using it, and don't come on repeatedly to say "It's great". They're too busy using it. I think this gives a disproportionate view of users experience.
It's the same in the rest of life. We're all too eager to go to a shop's customer services to complain about a member of staff, but how often do we go back into a shop to say "That member of staff was excellent"?
X2is stable for me and many others. Jump in, you'll love it.
