I'm looking forward to it! I plan on staying with X1 for awhile anyway. I only got it a few months ago and it does far more than I will ever use now. I had a chance to look at your book last week at Guitar Center, and it looked like a no brainer must have book. I ordered it from Amazon. Thanks
Cool... glad to hear Guitar Center is carrying the book, so people can browse it before they buy it, if they'd like.  I haven't been there in a while, so I didn't know they had it.

I'm sure you'll have a great time exploring all the different features that SONAR provides.

I'm accumulating quite a collection of these now Scott. I guess I'll find room to squeeze one more in!

Scott, how good is X2 compared to X1?

Hey Colin... if it doesn't fit, you'll just have to buy a new bookcase and then you'll have plenty of room.  Thanks!

Thanks, Bonjo! I appreciate the +1.

Nice try Mesh...  I can't say anything more than what Cakewalk has already revealed. They should be releasing more info at the end of the month. I can say that I like the new version though and having automation lanes is really nice. Thanks!

What's the story on the Kindle version of the book going away?  Its not a  big deal because I have the print version but I went to buy the Kindle version yesterday and it was not available any longer.

Hey Keith,

Oh man... don't get me started. The official word is that the publisher is negotiating a new ebook deal with Amazon for their entire catalog, but it's been months now and there is still no word as to when it will be done.

So in the meantime, I've been recommending people get the Nook version. I've got a link on my site: http://garrigus.com/?PowerBooks

Even if you don't have a Nook, that's okay because Barnes & Noble provides free Nook reader apps for a variety of devices including Mac and PC, so you can still read the eBook without having to purchase the Kindle version.

Thanks!

I really dunno anything about digital formats like Kindle and the like. Could you explain some more about them formats.

Yes.
And I'd like to know if there is an epub version.
And I'd like your opinion if illustrations are sufficiently readable on a 7" eInk eReader
